From
your first contact with Great Northern Construction, you'll
appreciate our level of professionalism and commitment to customer
satisfaction. You'll enjoy our friendly and energetic workers, our
emphasis on a clean job site and our unparalleled level of communication
keeping you informed about your job's status. And our work is guaranteed
for one full year. When we complete the job, you'll not only be proud
to show your friends and family, you'll enjoy it for years to come.
Bob Schwartz founded Great Northern in 1977. In those days
we were drawn to restoration of historic sites work and
did many projects for the Vermont Division of Historic Sites
based on National Historic Guidelines and Restoration practices.
This early training in very high standards and detail was
beneficial to the work we continue to perform.
Over the years we have evolved to a mainstream, general
contractor doing a mix of residential and commercial work.
We have vast experience in challenging jobs with engineered
details and a high degree of difficulty. Today we look for
projects that are both challenging (and what project isn't?)
and enjoyable, to meet one of our missions - "to have
fun at work"
